From Ukraine to WU Wien — a path I walked myself
The decision to change everything
Austria seemed like a distant dream — but I was determined to make it happen. At the time I was already studying at TU Wien, and I set myself a new goal: transfer to WU Wien. I got to work.
There were no ready-made solutions
I spent weeks searching for information about WISO and BBE. WU Wien's official site gives only a general description — no example tasks, no preparation structure, no one who had walked this path speaking your language. I prepared almost blindly.
93.4% — and an unjust exclusion
In 2025 I sat the BBE entrance exam and scored 93.4%. Instead of an admission letter, I was excluded — WU claimed I had a non-permitted item on me during the exam. That never happened. I fought the decision, but it could not be reversed.
Studying WISO while fighting an unjust exclusion
While sorting out the false accusation, I spent two semesters actually studying WISO at WU Wien, and started coaching applicants for both BBE and WISO at the same time. My first students got admitted to WU Wien before I even retook my own exam. I decided: I would come back and take BBE again.
33rd place — and finally an official student
In 2026 I took the BBE exam again. This time I was admitted — 33rd on the admission list. It confirmed what I already knew: my result was real, not a fluke, and no false accusation could change that.
Now I help others walk this path

The university's website only has a sample of 10 tasks from last year, and general textbooks won't come anywhere close to resembling the actual exam.
